Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)
Americas Branch
Working with a wide range of Canadian and international partners, CIDA has been providing development and humanitarian assistance to Latin America and the Caribbean for more than 30 years.

Fonkoze
Fonkoze, Haiti's Alternative Bank for the Organized Poor, is an alliance of more than 2,900 peasant organizations, women's collectives, cooperatives, credit unions, "ti machann" (women street vendor) groups, and religious communities, from all sections of the country. Fonkoze provides a full range of financial and educational services including a successful remittances transfer service through 17 offices in the countryside, located in every department in Haiti.

The Haiti Democracy Project
The Haiti Democracy Project is an independent research group promoting the cause of settled, responsive government in Haiti and U.S. policies conducive to this end by issuing research papers, holding conferences and workshops, hosting delegations, and sponsoring fact-finding missions. Founded in 2002 as an independent organization the project has a board of former U.S. ambassadors, members of the Haitian-American community, and policy analysts.

Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)
Social Policy Monitoring Network
The Social Policy Monitoring Network aims to improve the ability of Latin American and Caribbean countries to evaluate the impact of social policies and to improve the design of policies in social areas. By joining renowned experts in the evaluation field, regional researchers interested in evaluation and policymakers from social ministries and agencies, the network seeks to: promote and enhance the value of evaluation; promote and expand the understanding of the effects of social policies and build technical capacity to evaluate and design social policy.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF)
The IMF is an organization of 184 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty.

Lambi Fund of Haiti
The Lambi Fund supports grassroots, democratic movements in Haiti through financing and extensive field support and training to small economic development projects that are conceived and implemented by peasant, women's or community associations and are designed to generate income and become self-sustaining within 18 months.

Le Regroupement des organismes canado-haïtiens pour le développement (ROCAHD)
ROCHAD is a non-profit grouping of Haitian Diaspora organisations based in Montréal. The organization works with the Canadian International Development Agency to co-fund small-scale community development projects in Haiti.

National Coalition for Haitian Rights (NCHR)
Established as the National Coalition for Haitian Refugees in 1982 by a coalition of 42 U.S. and Haitian religious, labour and human rights organizations, NCHR aimed to assure that Haitian asylum applicants receive fair hearings in the United States and educate the U.S. public about the political and economic causes of the Haitians' flight from their homeland. Today, the organization has assumed international leadership in organizing support for human rights in Haiti. Over the last ten years, NCHR staff members have conducted numerous investigative missions to Haiti and published more than thirty reports on the status of human rights there.

The National Organization for the Advancement of Haitians, Inc. (NOAH)
NOAH is a national, US, nonpartisan organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of democracy in Haiti. NOAH's active participation in the democratization of Haiti continues, and was most recently evidenced when the organization was invited to witness the inauguration of the newly elected, President Jean Bertrand Aristide.

Organization of American States (OAS)
Unit for Education and Social Development
The Organization of American States (OAS) brings together the countries of the Western Hemisphere to strengthen cooperation and advance common interests. It is the region’s premier forum for multilateral dialogue and concerted action. The Unit for Education and Social Development deals with issues of inequality, education, labour and culture.

The Trinity University Haiti Program, Georgetown University
The Trinity University Haiti Program is a continuation and expansion of the Georgetown University Haiti Program, which was founded in 1994 in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University. The programme provides accurate, up-to-date, and insightful information and analysis to individuals and organizations involved in current Haitian political, economic and social issues.

The World Bank Group (WBG),
Division for Latin America and the Caribbean
The WBG is a development Bank which provides loans, policy advice, technical assistance and knowledge sharing services to low and middle income countries to reduce poverty. It is the world’s largest external source of funding for education and HIV/AIDS programs.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
USAID supports long-term and equitable economic growth, global health; and, democracy, conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance working in partnership with a wide network of private, public and non-government stakeholders.
