The need for non-partisan information sharing and analysis, coordination and innovative ideas is essential for Haiti's recovery and development.
Through the Research Forum on Haiti, FOCAL seeks to enhance ongoing Canadian assistance and cooperation efforts in Haiti by sharing information, building partnerships and generating policy options.
FOCAL also seeks to strengthen links between Canada and other actors in Haiti, including the U.S., emerging Latin American donors, multilateral agencies, the private sector and the Haitian Diaspora.
